Breeding Single Pasture
  • I'm getting ready to conduct my first pasture breeding and have three separate pastures. Since I'm a newer player, only one of my pastures has reached the 30+ day bonus.

I have two studs in the pasture and was ready to breed them, but noticed the only button says "breed all pastures." Is there a way to breed just one of the pastures? If I only have stallions in the one pasture I'm ready to breed and don't have stallions in the other two, if I click the "breed all pastures" button, will the other mares be left unbred?

    Thank you!
  • I've only got 1 pasture, but I think if you just changed your stallions about you can breed them 1 pasture at a time quite easily. Remember, stallions don't get a bonus for being in the pasture, so why not show them?

Pastures auto breed on the 14th (if there is a stallion in them), but you could wait until the 26th or something of this month to breed the horses that don't have 30 days yet so they have as much time as possible to be able to give you better foals.

  • If the other pastures don't have a stallion in them, then it is fine to push the button.
A lot of players will have a "breeding barn" and move the Mares and specific Stallion that they want bred to just that stallion.

  • Only the pastures with stallions in them will breed. :)

I have two pastures; a big one where my mares sit and accumulate their pasture bonus, and a smaller one that I rotate the ones I want to breed into once I decide which stallion to put them to etc.
  • I have 2 pastures and breed them separate just take the stallions out of the other pasturesand put them back in your barn then just breed that pasture.
  • Awesome! I'm glad to hear the mares in the other pastures don't ... breed to a ghost stallion or something. I was afraid they'd count as having a foal for the season without actually having a foal!

Looking forward to seeing what I get this evening!
