Why are public breeding (mares) prices so high this year
-
There are a lot of horses up for 10k or more for brood and they're not anything special. I do not understand why because even if you were to get a quality intact goal out them, the goal would never be worth what you paid for the breeding fee. Why are the prices so ridiculous this year?
-
Yea I noticed that to its ridiculous I refuse to pay more then 5k for a brood or stud because of all the gelded and spayed foals I keep getting
-
I also noticed that the horses breeding fees are significantly higher than what the player has bought them for.
-
I just looked and most of them aren't really that unreasonable minus a few. And players are allowed to put their own horses up for breeding at whatever price they think is reasonable. If you don't like it, just don't breed to that horse. There are plenty of others up for brood under 10k. :)
-
And breeding fee has absolutely nothing to do with how much the player bought the horse for.
-
10k is a really high public brood fee.
It's early in the year and the cheap horses are being used up as ET recipient mares. Prices will drop as the year goes on.

Looks like it is mostly just a single player with 2 accounts doing it. You can sort by breeding price so you don't have to see them. :)

I was mostly just wondering if there was a reason for it more than anything.
-
I got a lot of c*ap for selling and putting my horses for brood and stud for to high of prices but other people can do it and it's ok..that does not sound right to me
-
If you have an issue with a player harassing you, you can report it, or tell them to shove off. No use moaning about it here. ;)

I agree with ammit. Later on in the breeding season, there should be more cheaper mares.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable.
