Breeding advice is NOT any harder than before.
  • Breeding advice is not any harder than before. It is using the same numbers it has for years it just looks at sire and dam score now. Basically it is less tolerant of breeding uneven because you can no longer skate by off the weaker parents score.
  • Love the new system thankyou Ammit, It actually makes it easier in the long run as it takes the guess work out of the mares , New things are always scary to some people until they get use to it, Then they will wonder how they coped without it :)

  • Thanks Ammit! I have so many horses that I breed each season. The new bulk/whole barn system takes a lot of work off of me to geld/spay. Because I breed so many, I still have intact horses that are over 10 years old, that I will never breed, I still just show them for the show bonus. This way, they may place a little higher by being altered for me in bulk.

I know it was frustrating for me when I was newer and had a smaller barn. Most of my foals were altered also. But, then I noticed my showing bonus was increasing with those altered foals. Like jailee said it gets easier once you get used to it. :D
  • I guess for me it isnt the altering that really bothers me but the why. I am greatly enjoying the game. I am just trying to learn and breed quality foals. I appreciate everythng you have done. So far I like all the new updates on the game. It takes a bit for me to get used to it but overall it is a great game to play and enjoy.

  • As a professional stick-in-the-mud, I have to say that, with all the changes that Ammit makes/has made over the years, I have seriously resisted a few, and have learned the hard way that, in the end, they usually turn out for the best, and I forget it ever was any other way!

  • If thats the case then I had a really terrible season last season lol. Today I finished going through my last minute breeding foals from last season and after only running them through strict breeding advice I have only 37 intact out of 253. Thats never happened before lol. It was a mix of foundations, second gens, third gens, fourth gens, and maybe some 5th gens too Im not positive.
