I'm looking for a very high quality 7g even bred stud he must be star papered and PT over 12.3and satin and pearl let me know what you have post links below I can pay well per straw
-
You don't need to worry about even generations just even ability if you want an intact foal. Look for a stallion with an afpt in the same range as your mare.

afpt? is that PT what is afpt?
-
Average Foal PT
When you go to your horses "family" tab it will show you their AFPT near where you click to see their foals.ID# 2353 -
ok thank you :)
-
What is the mare Starfire? I could send you a straw to this stallion but I do like foals to do all the testing and not sold on

That stud is too high in ability for your mares. (Look at his 12.3 AFPT) Go with a lower AFPT stud if you want keep ability even and max your chance for intact foals. You might get intact foals from him, but your chance is better with a lower stud.

Would this stud work for either of them?
-
Is this mare ok to breed to the stallion above to?
Hope and Faith 5g -
And are we looking at the mares and studs paper and PT or mares and studs AFPT
-
Always look at AFPT when evaluating for breeding ability.
Yes that stud is a good fit. His AFPT is kinda low but he is star so that means he is a low star and a good match for those mares. That blue mare has a PT in the same range so is probably a high blue and again would be a good fit.

You were wrong the foal was spayed I'm not happy!

Hey star what did he paper? I have bred some thay got altered because they were red papered instead of blue.
-
I was not wrong. You got a bad random roal. Every breeding as a range. There is NEVER a guarantee of an intact foal. That is why I said you should breed a foundation herd and learn how breeding works. You will be a lot happier.

Not really I like pretty coats then I'd have a bunch of intact dull coats I don't know what to do lol
-
Always, always go for QUALITY first. Same as with real life, quality over quantity and looks. Most of my original foundies were pretty "boring". Now that I've got the jist of actually breeding for quality instead of color, I've added color to my herds.
