upgrade question

I just purchased a basic upgrade for 3 months + 2 small pastures. The pastures and the larger barn have manifested but I don't seem to have access to the papering feature (they are still grey), which is why I wanted to try the upgrade. Am I being overly anxious or is this a bug?
