If you look at the results of his gene test, you will see that he is A+A, meaning that he has the Wild Bay gene, which is dominant over all of the other Agouti variations. When it's combined with Ccr (dominant cream) you get the bright yellow Buttermilk Buckskins, which her sire is, under the gray. Because gray is dominant over all other colors, a horse's color name is always gray whether it is homozygous GG or heterozygous Gg and regardless of whatever other colors it may carry.
Your filly is heterozygous Gg, as well as varnish appaloosa, so she will gray out as time passes.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

You're going to average more than half your foals neutered each breeding season, and this is truly a good thing, since neuters get a training advantage.
Many experienced players recommend having a ratio of three neuters to one intact. Ammit's recommendation in the New Player Guide is 10 to 1 in favor of neuters.
But yes, it does hurt when you get a really pretty foal and it is neutered. However, there's little point in breeding horses with inferior breeding scores. You're only likely to get more unfit horses and you won't be improving your stock generation by generation.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
