Fjord horse colors
-
If one wanted to replicate the fjord horses colors what genes would be needed?
Pangere to get the lighter bellies and muzzles. Then based be red dun, Grullo, buckskin dun, cremello (white dun,) palomino dun and maybe brown/bay dun? Wild bay dun would look nice
I can't get the two toned manes in game but I can Mohawk everyone. Height starring at 13 hands and going no more than 15. Ideal horses would be 14 hands. Unsure on bone.
EDIT should I add silver? Silver isn't a gene I like that much but it would give the illusions of the 2 toned mane. Maybe I'll just keep a few silver and the red without
I still have my percheron line and will probably continue to breed them off handedly.----

I would say cob, so 2.5+. Fjords are pretty stocky horsesProducer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I'm going for cobs they have the height I need. I was thinking a bone of 2.20 to 3?----

doesn't 2.2 lead into the sport ponies?
And considering that they're called a "light draft", I wouldn't go any much higher than 3 either.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I believe so. I'd need horses with 2.5 and 3 then----
