Gray 'Dark Chocolate' RS?
-
I just bought one in the auction - I didn't realise that Dark Chocolate RS came in gray?
I had a look on the search and found a few; I had assumed all DC's were chocolate palomino carrying DP?
Either way, he is up for stud at 1000hbs.
Silver Lindt DC

The description for Dark Chocolate says : Genes and colors- red, Dense Pheomelanin, homozygous sooty, so any of the other gene combos could turn on or off, so yep, gray is definitely possible! or pangare, or frame, or silver, or ......Thanked by 1AztecArabians

And all chocolate palominos carry DP even ones that aren't rank special. Without the third darkening allele (DP) they would just be regular and sooty palominos----

Yes I've bred a few DP grays and chocolate palominos before, just didn't realise Dark Chocolate's could be gray :D
