Unusually marking. Genetic or error of image makeover?
  • I recently bought a Hajinc Rescue mare: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=140769.

SP My Treasure has an odd white spot in her mane (near her withers.) Is that a result of genetics (I'm still learning how to read the genetic testing results). Or is it part of the makeover?

I just noticed (Oct 19th 7:20 EST) that she also has an extra eye 3/4 of the way down her head. Hmmm. Actually...that's kind of cool (I never claimed to be normal.)

I'll be happy when the eye issue is resolved, but will her special spot go away too? I think it's cute and would miss it.

When the tack problem started, I first noticed it when I bought a halter for a new horse and it looked like it was sliding off of his nose. I'm not complaining--it was the funniest thing I had seen all day. I guess what I'm trying to say is: all of these bugs must be incredibly frustrating, but sometimes you've just gotta laugh.

I love all of these changes (lots of new backgrounds--woohoo!) Hajinc just keeps getting better and better, so keep your sense of humor when you need it. We appreciate all of these improvements.

But seriously, can she keep the spot?

Edited to add: I just got a good look at http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=154088 (SP Anomaly) He has unusual coloring on his tail (right above the hocks). I like it. Same question, please. His eyes appear normal, though. :)
  • You need to reroll these horses. You never did. Adding tack is not a reroll. Hence the bugged issues. And no I can not write special code in to keep an error. The system does not work that way.
  • Thanks for the quick response.

As for the special spot: Sad face.

    Everything else: :)
  • Oh--for the horse with the "sliding" tack, I went to his personal tack box, removed his tack, and then re-tacked him a few days later. While technically that wasn't a reroll, it did work.
