Confused about foundation horses genes

How did this horse get homozygous Pearl and saSa without being GMTed? Is it just super lucky and random create a horse?

Ok, I know that horses now when gmted are given a tattoo, but what about ages ago? This horse is 19 years old, so maybe one of the older members know when that tattoo came into place.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

So was he a clone of a foundation or a clone of a lined horse?

He is the clone of a foundation. Clones have the same pedigree as their progenitor.I was jllewis on the old forum.

He looks just like Dark Sun Rising, Cheers's boy, Dark Pearl's father. He was heavily GMTed as the list shows.
