I just calculated, and to comp test all my colts against their sires I'm gonna need 336,000 hbs :/ This might take a while...
-
dang :o that's why i only comp test my A colts against their sires, i would never have any money if i tested all my colts and sires :-SCelestial Performance Horses

Have you gleened out the ones that you don't want to breed for in color, size or anything else that makes you "not" like the colt? I would do that first before comp testing, of course after doing all the free testing. Then I check for size, bone or color. But try to make it as easy on yourself as you can. There are going to be more foals next season, and definitely more colts, so snip away at what you don't want!Thanked by 1AHayesHorses

I've done my first sweep through. I'm still debating whether or not I want to go back through a second time. I might just do that though, make my life easier XD

Quickly did the math and at 8k a peice that's 42 colts. I'd go through and do a few more sweeps.
I've only comparison tested 5 foals (which isn't good) simply because the price is so steep----
