The moving towards the upgrade is coming along great as I now only need 23 for IVS but what I did to make me pretty mad at myself was instead of using my auction money in creating horses I accidentally used it for IVS... I happened to get enough money to get a couple foundation horses and breed them. Now I have to wait until Sunday for the auction and hopefull sell a horse or two before then to create a couple more horses to breed. The process is actually moving faster than I thought it was just that setback that will slow it down a little and cause me a lot fewer auction horses until I can get to that point of selling 20+ horses in an auction at a time

@EasternShowBarn, it sounds like you have quite the plan. Good job working toward it! I know some spontaneous decisions can be "urg" moments, but I think you invested wisely. The breeding season is almost over and, if you had purchases the mares - bred them - sold them and the foals, you would have been ahead by 1 IV.

Don't forget to build up your show herd. This will pay for a lot - eventually all - of your breeding expenses. Have you had a chance to search "Available to Adopt" show horses? If you go to the horse search engine and type "Available to Adopt" in the tattoo portion, you can find a lot of great horses that established members have available for adoption to newer members. This is a great way to start a strong show line.

Just don't give up, you are nearly halfway there! :)

Thank you @Ritsika! I actually have tried to search the available to adopt horses but nothing comes up for me... I also have about 7-8 good show horses now

It is, word for word "Available to Adopt". The capitals are important.

Here is a link to the search for all of the Available to Adopt horses. Remember, some of these players are not around as much as they used to be, so it may take some time to hear back from them. Kerredans Corral has a couple on there, and she's on fairly often.
