Remove tattoos

How do you remove tattoos from your horses?

I don't know if tattoos are an upgrade feature, or not, but you go to the Control panel tab on your horses page, scroll down and there will be a link that says Tattoo Manager. Scroll down to the tattoo you want to remove and click Remove Tattoo. It costs 500 hbs to remove a tattoo.

I believe you have to have a Basic Upgrade, at least, to have access to tattoos.

I've got a free account and when I try to get the "Available to Adopt" tattoo off of my horses I can't. I can get to the page, but no option is given to do anything with the tattoos, so I think Sandycreek is right about needing a basic upgrade to do anything with them.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Yep, I checked it, and you need an upgrade to use tattoos. I posted a question to Ammit about it.

I checked it with Ammit, and she is ok with Free Account members selling horses to Upgraded account members for the purpose of removing Available To Adopt tattoos.
I would suggest that you ask someone you trust. If that person does not sell the horse back to you you might not have a lot of evidence to support getting it back.
Also, Ammit suggests that you price the horse at 5k, or there about, so that someone doesn't grab it off the sales board by accident. I would suggest it be done while both parties are online at the same time.
Also, it costs 500 hbs to remove the tattoo, you may need to pay the person removing the tattoo that cost.
(Last) ALSO, you may NOT put anything in the owners notes about 'selling for tattoo removal', or 'for Player xxx only'. <- that IS against the rules!<br />
