When I put my horses in breeders clubs I always check genes that I don't have, you know, just in case. Well, today when I got to Snowflake I actually had one to put in! Now, my only KNOWN snowflake carrier is a 2nd gen, and I haven't gotten a superior son that is old enough to reproduce yet, so there is no way I should have gotten a snowflake. I frantically searched for this mystery horse, and he's a 3rd gen! His sire is of course my snowflake boy, but his dam is from regular non-GMT'd creates. After some thinking, I narrowed it down to his foundation grand-dam since his grand-sire was created before snowflake was introduced. Man, I REALLY wish I didn't auction her!

Has anyone else gotten surprise snowflakes?

I have not had any special snowflakes appear. Maybe I will someday.

I've seen a couple of astonished announcements of surprise snowflakes showing up. My daughter, OndowaStables had a non-appaloosa snowflake carrier mare revealed by a snowflake foal, I forget whether it was here or in HaJ1.

I wonder how common it is to make a create with bonus snowflake.. I'll have to keep an eye out :)
