tattoo design ideas?

    The line I am currently developing is my Draftaloosa line called Fathach Chonaic or Spotted Giant. I want to make a tattoo for this line, but I am having trouble coming up with anything I can work into pixel art. Any help in this creative process would be most appreciated. I may end up having to pay someone else to create it too. Not that great at pixel art as it turns out.

    If you are planning on putting it into a corner, a simple plan might be a large G surrounded by spots. I have found that putting a different colored border around things helps tattoos show up better.

    You might be able to create a fancy FCh that would go onto the horse. Again, I would recommend having a light and dark line for each stroke, to make it easier to see on both light and dark colored horses.

    A more artistic idea might be a rugged mountain with rocks thrusting through the snow-cap and dark green at the bottom to create a snow line.

    I tried both ideas. Not sure if I'm happy with the outcome. Any opinions welcome.

    Can you post a horse or two to display the tattoos? It would be easier to evaluate them if I could see them. I'd be glad to create a tattoo for you if you'd like, or even to adjust one of the ones you have started.

    I like it. You might try making the sky a bit lighter blue, and the very bottom a lighter green, but it would look different, I think, on another background. Is the name of the line Gaelic?

    You're welcome. I enjoy making tattoos, but getting it done in 25 x 25 pixels can be a challenge.

    Well! There's something I've never run across before. I can't purchase your tattoo because it is the "last" one you have.

    So, I, I have offered you a blank tattoo slot for 1hb. When you purchase it, I will then be able to purchase yours and see what I can do with it. When I finish the work and sell it back to you, you may keep the extra slot if you want, or if you don't think you'll be using it, you can sell it back to me. I have no preference between those choices.

    Here is the result of my experimenting with your basic design. I've put it on a horse with the current default background and on one with a grassy background, just to check how it looks in different environments. Let me know if you'd like anything changed.

    Thanks. I'm glad you like it. It's up for sale in your tattoo registry for 2000 hbs. I had a great time working on it.

    All you have to do is refresh the images of the horses you had put it on before, and their tattoos will be updated to the new design.
