Question About Kit Mutation Load.
-
When I breed a foal and it tells me what the Kit Mutation Load for that foal, should I put it on that foals notes?Where quality Show and Performance Horses are bred.
ID#11406 -
@Tipsy03, that is completely up to you. I don't believe KML values will be seen in the near future. Ammit is simply letting us experiment with the new Kit system and giving us a little heads-up on how lethality is now calculated.
I have been putting this value in their notes because I'm interested in seeing what values come from certain genetic combinations with varying white factor. That way, when we don't see the KML, I will have a bit more understanding about which patterns are connected to high white factor such that I can avoid lethal foals.
I hope this explanation helps. :)
EDIT: Looks like Confluence Farms got to this before I did. Woops :PThanked by 1Tipsy03 -
There is absolutely ZERO reason to put it in the notes. In fact I think it would be a waste of time to do so. That number is going away at the end of this month, never to be seen again. Thinking you will be able to rely on it is a mistake.
