When can I expect to see my pasture foals?
-
I have several horses in my pasture -- when can I expect to see foals from them? I keep checking the pasture to see and nothing has changed. Thanks for any help you can give me :)
-
The pasture foals are born on the 14th or 15th, I don't remember for sure which. You will get a email when they are born which also identifies the best foal from your pasture breeding.
This reminds me that I need to decide which stallions to put into my own pastures this season.I was jllewis on the old forum.

Thanks so much! I haven't used the pastures before, so wasn't quite sure what to expect. Do you get a foal from every mare in the pasture (who hasn't been bred yet) or just some of them?
-
You will get a foal from every mare, unless you have both a mare and a stallion with white or with frame in the same pasture. In that case, if they breed together (if the pasture holds more than one. If there's only one, they will definitely breed together.) you are very likely to get a dead foal.
You will have to click on each foal's link to look at it in order for it to get a picture. Then you can move them out of the pasture.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
