It looks like he was palomino, or something light with cream, and he is graying out. One of the great things about grays on this game is that they turn more gray as they age. He just hasn't grayed out all of the palomino yet. Next season he might be completely gray.

You can re roll his portrait (on the upgrade with game money page, go to IV Shopping...it costs 100hbs to re roll a portrait) and he may look more gray, or less, depending.

In regards to his price, are you asking about a sale price or a breeding price. Neither is showing on his page.

Here is a list of all the gray foundation stallions that are up for breeding right now. The most expensive one is 1000, and it is a Rank Special (Shades of Pale) stallion, which means he is a perfect breeder. The majority of them are up for 250hbs.
