Another color suprise

Possibly. She has DP on both sides of her pedigree. With so little color and so much white I would be very reluctant to say she is definitely DP DP...though breeding her may help you confirm since if she is DP DP Ssty Ssty, every Foal she throws will be _ DP _ Ssty. If you keep her bred to all red based Ssty Ssty horses then if she's double DP every Foal will be Liver/Chocolate.

She'll be ready to start breeding next month. For her first few season I'll try to keep all studs bred to her red based. I'm really curious about whether she's black or not. Not sure I've seen a "black palomino"----

My observation of S+ with DP is that it enhances the dapples. Here a couple of my "black palominos" with regular sooty, one with dapples and one without:I was jllewis on the old forum.
