Welcome to the wonderful world of Hunt and Jump. There isn't a better place to learn about horse color genetics. Ammit, the game's creator, keeps on top of the developments in the field and updates the game to reflect that as she has time to fit it into her schedule. The Genetics Guide link near the bottom of the left menu bar has the beginnings of a tutorial, but it's a work in progress. Close by is a link to Breeding Info which will introduce you to how breeding works in the game.

There's an announcement to help you find Important Links near the top of the forum page.

The best tip I can give you is to ask any specific questions you may have as they arrive in your explorations. It's a complex game and not easy to explain in a forum post. Because the game is continually being updated, trying to write a complete manual is an exercise in futility. It would have to be updated and reposted so often nobody could keep up.

However, we are a friendly group who like to help out new players, so if you ask targeted questions, we'll be happy to give you answers.
