Star Shooter

This stallion is my Bay Ice Roan. He is son of Arctic Star Dust. he has won BOTH the shows he was in. once he is old enough to breed his coverings will be out. Please tell me if you would like straws.

I own his grandsire and don't particularly like uneven pedigrees, you can have this boy instead if you only breed him to gen2 mares?

Your horse Strawberry Fire, that you had compared Star Shooter to, does have very specific notes on his sire
ABSOLUTELY NO FOUNDATION MARES.
Prefer even-generation breeding. If you breed him to a foundation horse you will be blocked
You did breed your foundation mare to him to get Strawberry Fire, thus I suggest you yum him
-
um.....ok
-
Actually, You don't have to geld or yum him. There are no set rules on this. The owner of his sire could block you from ever using or buying any of their horses, but you will not actually be reprimanded by Ammit or any of the Mods. Also, I personally have no issues with uneven pedigrees when they are that close. if it was a star 5th gen stallion to a foundie mare then yeah there would be some issue, but not this close in gens (personal preference). That being said, it is just common courtesy to follow a breeders wishes and rules if you want to use any of their horses later on. If you want to keep him intact I suggest just using him in house only and not offering him up for public use or outside straws.
-
The horse I mentioned does have rules on his page but the horse originally posted doesn't which is why I simply hoped I could interest you in a replacement
-
Oh and as far as Double T Stables post, I didn't say you have to yum him, I suggested you do. Why? Because one of the best things about this game is the interaction with other players. If you ignore rules on public horses word will get around and no-one will want to sell you anything and you'll have trouble selling too. If you only want to breed your own and not buy or use others horses you can of course do what you want. You are a new player so no-one is going to give you a hard time and we will try and help you if we can. But it is good to be aware that many breeders don't like uneven pedigrees in early generations, and best to try and follow the rules on public horses
