Bred three mares out and only got one foal?
-
I've just started the game anew and for some strange reason (maybe I missed a notification) out of the three mares I "successfully" bred, only one foal came out?
-
Did the mares or stallions have Olw? or any of the dominant white genes, or Sabino? You can get lethal whit foals that die at birth because of the color combinations.
ETA: Went and looked at your horses, and yes, all of them are White 2. The chances of a lethal white foal are 25% with every breeding. Your numbers are exactly what the odds would predict. When a lethal white foal is born no picture appears on the page. The top line says something to the effect of "they have produced a healthy foal" but the line under where the picture would go says something like "the foal had lethal white and died at birth, the mare cannot be bred again this season".
There is a chart that shows the percentage chance of a lethal white foal, I will post a link. Be aware that it has not been updated to show that Sabino 3 had it's name changed to White 8 (same gene, different name, still lethal).

Ah that makes sense. Thanks for the quick response.
