Anybody else excited???

I am super excited for the new breeding season. I finally have a nice amount of mares (okay, about 60, but still a nice amount) and I'm happy with the mix of genes I have right now. I also hope to use foal PTs to cull some of my weaker mares, so not only should I have pretty babies, but I hope to keep a better overall quality of breedable stock by the end of this month. What are all of your goals for this next season? I wish you luck in whatever you are striving for.

I'm pretty excited because a) I LOVE when breeding season starts on a weekend day, and b) I made myself take a minimum breeding seasion last month, since July was HUGE, and 3) I really needed to focus on culling, and d) I wanted to save up some hbs for another big month.

My goals this month is to breed just my foundation stock and see what kind of foals I get. To improve on my showing bonus. I want to better understand the breeding aspect of things but start slow and grow. And maybe enter a horse that I create just for the futurity.

My goals is to breed all my 17h mares and a few of my colourful satins ,then the rest will be up for public breeding :) hopefully I'll still have barn room left

I'm always excited for the beginning of new breeding seasons.... until about 200 mares in and I'm like "why do I have so many maresSsSsS @-) " hahaha
Im glad I don't do a ton of hand breeding because I still have boys to comparison test and horses to cull and mares to retest I'm not readyyyy lol.
I'm ridiculously excited to start my Axiom line :) If that counts as a goal haha
